We understand he has now left for Hong

Kong taking the boy, who is only 7 years old, with him,

Although he promised the Magistrates he

would allow his wife 27. a month, she has not had a penny

from him since November, and she thought that if we wrote

to you you might intercede in the matter and help her, as

she is now practically destitute and if it was not for one

or two kind friends in this Borough she would have to go

to the workhouse.
